This year more than ever “feeling merry” is the feeling we are reaching for, to find joy, gratitude - all of the good stuff! It’s in the daily practice and lesson that reminds us that there is always hope. In this month of merry we want to share our giving back goals, ideas to spread cheer in your neighborhoods and some of our favorite non-profit organizations that continue to make our world merry.

Beyond Project: The Beyond Project provides beauty and wellness professionals with an outlet to use their talents for good. We are a dynamic coalition of volunteers who apply our beauty and wellness knowledge to charity events that use beauty to empower and inspire those who need it most, creating social impact through what we do best. Gift to your fashionista with a big heart!
Green Plate Special we’ve got three words for you: kids, gardens and cooking! This Seattle based non-profit teaches children and youth how to grow and prepare their own foods. It doesn’t get any cooler than this! Green Plate’s has a robust list of programs including camps, classes, drop-in and volunteerism. They also partner to distribute groceries to the Greater Puget Sound. Donations to this organization will definitely give a big bang for your buck. Click to read more

Big Brothers Big Sisters: This well known program organization impact and ability to partner with big organizations is only surpassed by it’s humility. Over the decades BBBS has changed the lives of thousands of children through their mission “To create and support one to one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth.” Read about how you can get involved
