“What inspires us?
people do... the ones who go after things, who go through around or over anything blocking their path. a lot is going on in this world right now. we have to look at how do we get better, in many ways.
we can be better. we can change and be a inspiration... to inspire a culture to change... that goes for all. take the things we praise, that are not working, are not moving us forward and rise above .”
Inspired hits home with Be Kind 5’s pillars for mental and physical health. We wanted to know more about the movement behind the brand. How it’s founders and the clothing line are inspiring others?
“How are we inspiring others? We just stay dedicated to the craft. This isn’t a overnight brand we know it takes hard work, time and dedication. With that being said we are living and showing by example. You can build a brand from the ground up too, something that lasts.
It all started because I wanted my family to be able to have a line or a brand, that we can say ‘that's us’ and instill that pride in ownership in them. It’s important, but that was only one layer. Because it’s also about friends and then its about giving people the strength to push on. And to know that you’re not alone in your struggles or whatever you may be going through.
Every shirt embodies overcoming, going one-more-step, not giving up. For each person it’s different. I’m just happy people are noticing and as long as they spread the “inspire” energy around I’m for it.”
What vision do you have sitting on the back burning. There is one degree from hot to boiling, to create steam powerful enough to drive a locomotive. Is your purpose running full steam? How can you turn up the heat that extra degree and make it happen?
