GGB's 7th Annual Art & Wine Auction
This week we were honored to celebrate all the work that Girls Giving Back, our parent organization, and its dedicated donors do to transform the community. A few of the Be Kind 5 - Kindness Warriors volunteered to share information on the 5 pillars, sell Action Commitment cards and hand out swag. This was GGB’s third year hosting their Annual Art & Wine Auction at Suite Lounge - Downtown Bellevue. The venue was a great space to mingle, bid on the phenomenal offerings and enjoy the delicious food and cocktails prepared by the Suite Lounge crew.
The band “Kazoo” featuring singer songwriter Cassidy Huff and Zoser filled the space with covers of current pop and rock songs. After, a few, wine spritzers guests raised their paddles for items like a yacht cruise, Seahawks tickets, art created by local artist and handmade bowl loaded with cash and donated gift cards. After the live auction items were awarded auctioneer Troy opened up the bidding in support of Cassidy to raise money for a much needed service animal to give her independence as a new college student.
Needless to say our hearts are full seeing how many the multiple was people gave to support the community, through volunteer hours, $27,000 in donations and, a ton of high-fives. Can’t wait to do it again!
