Stellar Example of Kindness
Sweety Saradha, founder of the Expressions Arts Program, developed her arts platform to provide opportunities for artists of all ages, abilities and backgrounds to join together with their talents and creativity, sharing their generosity to benefit not only their local communities, but also others around the world.
The Expressions Arts Program offers a variety of numerous international art contests, with no entry fees, for all age groups, focusing on providing opportunities for artists to showcase their creative talents, gain recognition and grow their businesses on a global platform.
The Expressions Arts Prep Academy Program educates teen artists, ages 13 -19, to develop their entreprerneural skills, portfolios and teaching strategies, so they can eventually launch their own successful art teaching careers. In just one year, students are trained extensively to excel in many necessary skills, from writing their bios, to experiencing teaching classes online and in person, as they also graciously give to those with needs in their communities.
The Expressions Community Outreach Program provides opportunities for students to help local organizations, such as Hoff Foundation, Sophia Way, a center for women compromised by abuse, addiction, homelessness, and trauma, Emerald Heights Senior Assisted Living, Aegis Living Memory Care Unit, veterans’ facilities, etc. The students visit with grateful and smiling residents and deliver numerous gifts, such as handmade greeting cards, decorated photo frames, rock painting kits, bouquets, painted pots, baked goods, gift cards, etc. Sweety sets a good example for all by providing her free art classes to senior center residents as well.
Recently the Expressions Program, along with Acorn Youth Force, provided numerous young entrepreneurs the opportunity to display their talents and crafts, sharing 40 booths, in a large and very successful Children’s Business Fair, in Redmond Downtown Park. Many youth donated their sales profits to worthy causes locally and world-wide.
Sweety Saradha is a stellar example of kindness by bringing creativity and happiness to others through her expertise, devotion to her art passions and kindly helping others with her continuous heart-felt generosity!
Sweety Saradha truly believes that she can’t do any of it without her students help and support as all these programs are run by the YOUTH BOARD (team of students age 13-16 years) under her guidance. According to her all her students who are volunteering are the true Kindness Warrior and there is no Expressions program without these selfless kids by her side.
