In spite of the fact that the world seems to have been turned inside out. As we are all well settled into this “new normal” we want to encourage you to be empowered in defining what your new normal looks like. There certainly are some big things that are out of our control but the daily to do’s are up to you Kindness Warrior.

Be the creator.

  • Recognize wet clay is much easier to transform that something that has already been through the fires. Now is the time, when things are all ambiguous and unknown, to make those changes you been needing/hoping for.

  • Be determined and committed to the things that keep you grounded, healthy and well.

  • Maintain, strengthen and create the boundaries you need to thrive.

Be the storyteller.

  • What story do you want to tell 1 year, 5 years, 20 years from now?

  • Do you have a tendency to talk go deep into the bad stuff or do you look for the wins? Shifting to asset based storytelling will help you chart the course to the things you want.

  • Be honest about how you are doing with the people you trust. Quarantine can be really lonely, especially for those of us who like a lot of physical connection.

Be the friend/neighbor/community member/global citizen you need.

  • Check on people in ways that work for you. A postcard, text, phone call, email or tagging a friend in a silly post. Let your circle know you care.

  • Take a moment to consider how your choices impact those around you. Now more than ever we have to be own the impact of how we move through this world.

  • Recycle. Unplug unused appliances. Smile when you mean it. Wash you hands. Pick up after your dog. You know all the standard good stuff.
